10 Insane Cars People Have Tried To Create

March 11, 2017

For some people, adding on a unique spoiler, body kit, or new rims is enough to personalize their new ride. For others, enough is never enough! The following are the most bizarre, inherently special, and, quite frankly, weirdest vehicles to ever grace the road.

10. A Juicy Little Number

Although this juicy little number is shaped like an orange, has orange-textured bodywork, and indeed looks like an orange, it is, in fact, a mini (albeit a highly modified mini). With a top speed of only 30 mph, there are only six of these available today, with all models being manufactured between 1972 and 1974. Their purpose? Advertising, of course.

9. High Heel Bike

This monster of a vehicle is certainly high fashion that doesn’t belong on the highway. It certainly is unique, but doesn’t exactly seem functional. I mean, where are you supposed to get a car wash? It might just help you get that job you have been vying for, though!

8. Someone Get The Phone!

Fewer phones in the car, more cars in the phone? This bizarre-looking vehicle comes equipped with a horn that actually sounds like a ringing telephone! The receiver is removable also, but you had better hope no one calls, as it would be difficult to arrange yourself in a position to answer.

7. The Foot Long

This well-known automobile, dubbed "The Weinermobile," was first created in 1936 by Oscar Mayer's nephew, Carl G. Mayer, and its variants are still used by the reputable company to advertise their products today. Drivers of this vehicle are widely known as "Hotdoggers" and often hand out toy whistle replicas of the Wienermobile, otherwise known as Wienerwhistles. Pass the mustard!

6. Ahead of Its Time

This masterpiece of shocking visual stimulation was actually sold on eBay for close to $200,000. With a unique body and interior, it is absolutely one of a kind! The 0212 Other Makes ETV is said to be, "[a] unique, one of a kind futuristic exotic with Lamborghini doors and Ferrari style." Perhaps most surprising of all, it's completely street legal!

5. The Wedding Cake

This wedding cruiser is a sure-fire way to ensure that all eyes are on you as you ride off into the sunset. With wide back windows and more-than-enough room to consummate the marriage before the reception - if you were thinking that white super-stretch limos were the height of bad taste at a wedding, think again!

4. Better Than An Airbag

If, like all first-time parents, top-protection standards are what you're after, then you've come to the right place. Forget airbags, just cover your motor (and the majority of your vehicle) with marshmallow fluff!

3. The Cream Egg

What could be better than having access to the cream egg any time of the year, not just around Easter? How about a giant version that you can pack your lovely family into for a trip to see the in-laws! Too bad this version is packed with screaming children and not that oozing, creamy goodness that dreams are made of.

2. The Big Cat

Unfortunately, we aren't talking about a V12 Jaguar here when we say 'big cat'. This purring beauty will get you from point A to point B in a warm, fuzzy, look-at-me fashion.

Okay, so it's not Darth Vader. But this Stormtrooper helmet car is sure to turn heads more than anything you've driven until now. Plus, who would mess with you?
